Jake Locker practices again, Titans wait to pick QB

Jake Locker practiced again for the Titans Friday, but there's still no decision on his playing status for Sunday's game.

However, it certainly sounds more and more like Locker will play against San Francisco. He reportedly took a majority of the first team reps Friday at practice and General Manager Rustin Webster told radio station 104.5 The Zone he's optimistic Locker has done what he needs to do to play this week.

Head Coach Mike Munchak said they will notify Locker and Ryan Fitzpatrick Saturday who will start.

Locker has been out since spraining his right hip and knee September 29. No one even conceived him returning this early.

The Titans have turn in their inactive list by about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, which is when it will be announced if Locker is playing.

The Titans play the 49rs Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. at LP Field.
