'Most Wanted' fugitive from Clarksville captured in Kentucky

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. -

A Clarksville fugitive was arrested Wednesday after being added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's "Most Wanted" list five days ago.

According to our news partner Clarksville Now, Cedric Laster Jr. was arrested at 11 a.m. and taken into custody without incident from his place of employment in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

The arrest was made by TBI agent, local police and US Marshals.

Laster was wanted in Clarksville for an aggravated robbery that took place on July 30.

He is accused of threatening two men with a gun and forcing them to drive to two separate ATMs and withdraw $300 in cash after they agreed to give him a ride.

Laster reportedly fled after the last location and stole the victims' cell phones and money.

He is currently awaiting extradition to Tennessee at the Christian County Jail in Hopkinsville.
