SPRING HILL, Tenn. -

A reservist for the Mt. Pleasant Police Department was arrested overnight Tuesday in Spring Hill after he was caught peeking through the window of a young woman's home.

Ezra Martin was charged with observation without consent.

He was booked into the Maury County jail and has since been released on $2,000 bond.

According to Mt. Pleasant Police Chief Tommy Goetz, Martin was a reservist with the department since the program began in September of 2010.

Police department reservists are not paid but have the same powers and duties as officers when they are on duty

Martin was stripped of his duties as well as his uniform, badge and gun.

Martin was also a volunteer firefighter in Maury County.  News 2 has learned he has been relieved of that duty as well.
