Man faces homicide charges following Hendersonville stabbing

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -

An 18-year-old was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man early Thursday morning in Hendersonville.

The incident occurred at the Brookside Apartments in the 200 block of New Shackle Island Road around 2:20 a.m.IV pulled a knife and stabbed a 22-year-old male.

When authorities arrived, they found the victim inside a vehicle. He had been stabbed one time in the abdomen.

He was transported to Skyline Medical Center for surgery.

Stephens was arrested after police learned his identity from the victim.

Officials in Robertson County found him at his residence on Charles Lane in White House.

He faces attempted homicide charges.

Officials are still trying to determine the motive.
