Metro police have made an arrest following a holdup of an east Nashville convenience store last week.
Timothy Marsh, 23, is charged with attempted robbery.
According to police, Marsh entered the Shell station located at 1001 Shelby Avenue last Wednesday and implied that he had a handgun but fled empty handed.
Marsh was arrested in Sumner County Thursday for a probation violation.
He was returned to Nashville Monday night and booked into the Metro jail on $80,000 bond.
He has previous theft and drug possession convictions, police said.
