Nashville police arrested a man during the overnight hours Sunday after he ran over another man with his vehicle.
According to an affidavit obtained by News 2, Timothy Coleman drove to the victim's home and demanded he turn over the keys to Coleman's Nissan Altima, which was parked at the home.
The victim and suspect argued inside the car before Coleman drove away.
According to the affidavit, less than a minute later, Coleman returned and drove his car directly toward another person standing in the driveway.
The victim stepped into the path of the car and took the impact. One of the tires rolled onto his chest.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Coleman, 25, is charged with attempted criminal homicide. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
