LeAnn Rimes flips switch for 'Opry Goes Pink' tradition

For a fifth year in a row, the Grand Ole Opry will continue its tradition of going pink in October for breast cancer awareness.

Country artist LeAnn Rimes will have the honor of flipping the switch at the "Opry Goes Pink" event, turning the historic stage pink for the night of Tuesday, October 22.

A portion of the proceeds from the upcoming show will benefit Woman Rock for the Cure, a non-profit organization that supports young women facing breast cancer.

Rimes released her latest album "Spitfire" in June. The country crooner co-wrote nine of the album's songs.
