A group of siblings captured a man after he allegedly broke into their residence and groped one of the sisters.
The victim reported to police that she woke up to a man groping her rear Sunday around 2 a.m. near downtown Nashville.
She ran to wake up her sister who was asleep on the couch in the living room.
The suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Troy Jones, ran to hide in the bathroom.
The sister allegedly saw Jones hiding behind the bathroom door and threw a children's car seat at him.
As the commotion got louder, the victim's brother woke up. Police said as the brother walked through the kitchen, Jones walked right past him attempting to flee the apartment.
Both the brother and sister of the victim followed Jones outside and were able to hold him until police arrived.
Arresting officers found a cell phone and alarm clock in his possession. The siblings said the phone and clock were stolen from their home.
Jones was charged with aggravated burglary and sexual battery without consent.
He was booked into the Metro jail on $75,000 bond.
