NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

One person is dead following a crash involving a scooter and another vehicle late Saturday night.

Paul Woodcock, 48, of Mt. Juliet, died around 11:15 p.m. on Lebanon Pike at Spence Lane after he was struck by another vehicle.

The other driver, identified as 35-year-old Dustin Bunch, was traveling west when he attempted to turn into a gas station.

Bunch's vehicle, a 2003 Infiniti G35, struck Wodstock's scooter.

Woodcock, who was wearing a helmet at the time of crash, died at the scene.

Bunch reported that he did not see the scooter.

The preliminary contributing factor to this crash is failure to yield on the part of Bunch.

Police found no signs of impairment in either driver.

No charges were filed.
