Metro Schools is hosting its second annual First Choice Festival on Monday.
The event was created to help parents learn about their children's education options within the Metro school system.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet with principals and teachers from a variety of schools to help them decide where they want their children to attend next year.
Metro schools spokesperson Joe Bass explained, "We have lots of educational choices, programs that fit every family's need. We have magnet schools, we have neighborhood schools, we have charter schools, we have all sorts of schools represented, and every school is invited. Families should come on down."
The First Choice Festival will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on Wedgewood Avenue in south Nashville.
