Fugitive wanted for kidnapping added to 'Most Wanted' list


A 19-year-old man wanted by Franklin police for a number of charges has been added to the state's "Most Wanted" list.

Alonzo Howard and several other individuals are accused of entering a home located in the 600 block of Cherokee Place on December 23, 2011.

While inside the home Howard and the other suspects displayed firearms before forcing three women who were inside the residence at the time into an adjacent apartment.

The suspects then ransacked the home searching for drugs and money.

Howard faces attempted second degree murder, kidnapping and burglary charges, among others.

Howard is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. Authorities said Howard has a history of drugs and violence.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

A $1,000 rewards is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
