Three people were arrested Wednesday in Goodlettsville in connection to two separate incidents, a robbery and attempted murder, both of which occurred on September 14.
According to investigators, Antwan Powell, 27, Angela Neely, 34, and Darren Hern, 22, committed a robbery in the 800 block of Wren Road and later attempted to kill a man further down the road.
Police connected the two crimes after speaking with the victim in the second incident.
According to reports, the victim was shot three times during a drug deal gone wrong.
He was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he remained in critical condition for several hours.
Once the victim was coherent and cognizant, police were able to question him for a description of the crime, suspects and getaway vehicle.
Authorities realized the vehicle was the same used in a robbery that occurred earlier in the day on the same street in the 800 block of Wren Road.
Neely, Powell and Hern were subsequently identified and arrested on Wednesday.
All three are charged with attempted criminal homicide and especially aggravated robbery.
Neely is being held on $400,000 bond. Hern is being held on $10,000 bond.
Powell is charged with an additional count of especially aggravated robbery and two counts of felony possession of a weapon. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
