Munchak, QB Jake Locker agree Titans must play better on offense

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee receiver Kenny Britt says he was frustrated about the explanation the Titans gave him for benching him briefly when he wrote on Twitter that this looks like his final season in Tennessee.

Britt insists he wants to win, do his part and be with the Titans after this season.

The Titans need Britt focused on helping an offense that has thrown the fewest passes in the NFL through two games.

Both quarterback Jake Locker and coach Mike Munchak say the Titans (1-1) must play better on offense.

Leaning heavily on the run game early, the Titans have hurt themselves with 12 of 15 penalties coming against the offense. Locker also is trying to grow into his role at quarterback in his third season.

They host San Diego (1-1) on Sunday.
