A woman was arrested for aggravated assault after she allegedly swerved her vehicle into the path of her neighbor's car.
Andreis Turner, 26, had been involved in a dispute with her neighbor for several days, according to police.
On Tuesday, the victim reported she was driving down McGavock Pike when Turner swerved into her lane in an attempt to strike her vehicle.
The woman said she was forced to swerve her own vehicle and ran off the road. Her 19-month-old granddaughter was in the car at the time.
Turner told responding officers she swerved to avoid a pothole and had no intention of hitting her neighbor.
She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after officers searched the area twice and did not find any hazardous potholes.
Turner's bond was set at $3,500.
