MEMPHIS, Tenn. -

A relative to Justin Timberlake, a native of Memphis, has been arrested for stealing from the pop star's mother and stepfather.

According to The Commercial Appeal, Jane Harless, 53, allegedly stole $64,700 from her brother and his wife between January 2011 and August 2013.

Her brother, Paul, is married to Timberlake's mother, Lynn.

Harless was hired to work for her brother in 2010, and during the two years that followed, she wrote herself checks from the couple's account.

Authorities reported they compared signatures to prove she forged the checks to herself.

Harless has been charged with 121 counts of forgery over $60,000, two counts of identity theft and one count of theft over $60,000.

She is currently being held in jail.

Paul Harless is a minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies and a partner in Timberlake's Mirimichi golf course.
