Gallatin man arrested in connection to fatal shooting

GALLATIN, Tenn. -

Gallatin police arrested a 30-year-old man in connection to a shooting that killed a man in mid-April.

Twenty-three-year-old Ramone Wilson sustained a gunshot wound to the head on April 15 in the 700 block of Greenway Drive.

He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

George Humphrey was recently indicted by a Sumner County grand jury in connection to Wilson's death.

Humphrey remains jailed without bond pending his first court appearance.

A second suspect in the fatal shooting, Keanthony Dillard, is also jailed.

Wilson's shooting death was the first in Gallatin since 2010.
