3 caught, 1 at large following Antioch carjacking, manhunt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Three suspects have been apprehended and one remains at large following a carjacking and manhunt early Friday morning.

A man was robbed and carjacked by four black males just after 4 a.m. at an apartment complex on Linbar Drive.

The victim told police the gas light of the stolen vehicle was on, so authorities began searching nearby gas stations.

An officer in an unmarked police car spotted the suspects at a gas station on Bell Road. When backup arrived in marked police vehicles, the suspects fled.

They led police on a chase in the stolen Kia Optima at speeds up to 70-miles-per-hour, causing officers to lose track of them.

Minutes later, officers spotted the vehicle crashed on the side of Hamilton Church Road in front of the Hamilton Chase subdivision in Antioch.

The suspects had fled on foot. Canine units arrived and a manhunt began around the intersection of Lakewalk Drive and Hobson Pike.

Three 18-year-old suspects, identified as Calvin Guy, Jno Baptiste and Jocquarius Tillmon, have all since been taken into custody and admitted to being in the stolen car.

One suspect remains at large. He is believed to be in his early 20s and wearing orange shorts.

News 2 spoke to the victim and his girlfriend, who owns the Kia that was stolen and said she recently purchased it.

The couple has decided to move from the apartment complex due to the incident.

The search is for the final suspect is ongoing.

Guy is being held in lieu of $30,000 bond, while Tillmon is being held in lieu of a $13,000 bond.

Jno Baptiste is also jailed in lieu of $9,000.

Their photos are being withheld.
