Murfreesboro police arrested a 28-year-old man Monday night after an alleged meth lab was discovered at his home. Upon their arrival, police discovered two bottles with residue that is consistent to a previous meth cook, as well as a pipe cutter, WGNS Radio reported. Authorities also located other materials used to manufacture the illegal drug including hydrochloric acid. Police reported they also discovered evidence of a fire inside the home located in the 1100 block of Jetton Avenue that is believed to have sparked while cleaning up a meth cook. Eric Buckner is charged with initiation of meth and unlawful drug paraphernalia among other charges. He remains jailed on a $36,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in November.
