NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Predators hosted a fundraising event Sunday night at the Bridgestone Arena.

Petey's Preds Party benefited the Predators Foundation and The Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's disease.

"It's great support by everybody,"  Brent Peterson, Hockey Operations Advisor. "The Predators have been great to us. It's just been great for the whole community of Nashville to come out and support both the Preds Foundation and Peterson for Parkinson's."

The event was highlighted by interaction with Predators players along with celebrities from the sports and entertainment world.

A world-class silent auction opened at the beginning of the night, featuring one-of-a-kind autographed memorabilia from the industry.

After a cocktail reception and dinner, entertainment was provided by comedian Kevin Nealon, best known for his role on Saturday Night Live for over a decade in the late 80s.

The Predators Foundation works with multiple local charities that benefit Nashville youth.

The Peterson Foundation for Parkinson's helps raise awareness and money for Parkinson's research at Vanderbilt University.
