Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Madison.
Aaron Evans, 23, and Prince Kennedy Jr., 25, are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Graycroft Apartments around 8:30 p.m.
A witness reported to police that Evans and Kennedy fled in a blue Dodge Charger.
Officers later spotted the car on Old Hickory Boulevard and executed a traffic stop.
Evens and Kennedy were taken into custody. Two handguns were recovered from their vehicle, along with stolen items from the victim.
Both men are charged with aggravated robbery.
Evans was also booked on outstanding warrants related to the assault of his girlfriend.
He is a convicted robber who was sentenced to eight years for aggravated robbery and three years for aggravated assault in 2008.
He is being held in lieu of $80,000 bond.
Kennedy has previous convictions for drug possession and theft.
He is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
