Lockdown lifted for 3 east Nashville schools after shots fired

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A lockdown for three east Nashville schools has been lifted after shots were fired nearby Thursday afternoon.

The lockdown for Meigs Academic Magnet School, Ross Elementary and Warner Elementary were put in place just after 3 p.m. as a precaution and lifted a short time later.

No injuries were reported.
