A man was arrested on multiple charges after he allegedly told police he was Jesus and threatened to blow their heads off on Friday.
Police were called to a Davidson County apartment complex in regards to a former tenant reportedly trying to break into his old unit.
Upon arrival, authorities saw 58-year-old Ronald Lambert standing on the second floor landing.
After officers asked him to come downstairs to talk, Lambert allegedly told them he was Jesus, stated he had a gun, and would blow their heads off.
According to the affidavit, Lambert also said he was sent there to kill the officers.
Authorities exhausted their efforts to try and get Lambert to come downstairs, so several of them went to arrest him.
Lambert allegedly struck the first officer in the head and ignored all commands to stop resisting.
He was tazed and taken into custody without further incident.
Police found the door to his old apartment had been kicked multiple times and received damage to the door and door frame.
Lambert was charged with assault of an officer, vandalism and resisting arrest.
He was also charged with aggravated criminal trespassing because he was previously banned evicted and banned from the complex for attempting to blow the building up with gasoline.
He is being held on $32,000 bond.
