The wait is finally over for a woman who moved to Tennessee in early June and waited over two months to receive her belongings from a Florida moving company.
Cindy Arroyo told News 2 she hired Ryder Moving and Storage in May to move her to Unionville, Tennessee.
On the contract, the company committed to delivery within 30 days. Arroyo arrived to her new Bedford County home on June 12.
Since then, the company has told her they would deliver her belongings dozens of times, but never showed up.
Saturday evening, the truck finally arrived and Arroyo couldn't be happier.
"Thank you everyone. Thank you for all the support. Thank you for all the people who helped me out. Thank you channel 2; you helped me a lot," said Arroyo.
News 2 discovered Saturday night that Ryder Moving and Storage had been shut down. Arroyo's belongings had been placed in storage.
Another moving company was then contracted to deliver the items. Arroyo hired "Ryder Moving and Storage" online.
The Better Business Bureau recommends consumers' check references when possible before hiring an online company.
