NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Sounds last home stand is underway, with the final game Monday night.

The team kicked off the first game Friday with a 3-2 victory over a division rival, the Iowa Cubs.

"We had a great victory last night against the Iowa Cubs. They are in town for the next three nights and we are going to close it out with the Cubs. And we know there is a lot of Cub fans in town, so I'm sure they will come out in full force in their cubby uniforms as well," Nashville Sounds General Manager Brad Tammen said.

Before the first pitch, the Sounds will be honoring the South Nashville Little Leaguers.

The Little League team made it to the World Series, but lost against a Washington state team, knocking them out of the tournament.

The boys will get to come out on the field for a meet and greet, as well as get a chance to throw some of the first pitches.

They're also being given a little financial help from the Sounds.

"We are going to do a special introduction prior to the game with these guys, as well as a check presentation to help them out, cover some of their expenses for all of their travel," Tammen stated.

Saturday night, News 2's Jamey Tucker will be on hand and Stephanie Langston will throw out the first pitch.

The game starts at 6:30 p.m.
