Scattered t'storms this Labor Day Weekend will be our only chance to cool down until a "cool" front arrives by Tuesday morning (hard to call 80s a "cold" front).
Highs Saturday & Sunday will still reach the mid 90s with a heat index near 100°.
Scattered storm chances will run about 40% through Labor Day, so keep an eye on the sky during your outdoor plans, but it won't rain all day.
The graphic to the right shows the front through here by Tuesday morning according to the GFS model. The other longer range model, the ECMWF agrees.
Just in time for us to go back to work!
