UNIONVILLE, Tenn. -

A woman who moved to Tennessee in early June is still waiting for a Florida moving company to deliver her belongings.

Cindy Arroyo told News 2 she hired Ryder Moving and Storage in May to move her to Tennessee.

On the contract, the company committed to delivery within 30 days.

Arroyo arrived to her new home in Unionville, in Bedford County, on June 12.

Since then, the company has told her they would deliver her belongings dozens of times and never showed up, including Friday evening.

The company quoted her over the phone at $1,500 for the move. Arroyo said after they filled up the moving truck with her belongings, they told her she owed them an additional $1,100.

Arroyo spoke with company workers Friday morning, and they told her to have the additional money ready and they would deliver her items in the evening.

The company never arrived.

"It is gut-wrenching," Arroyo said, adding, "For the first month I wasn't eating, I wasn't sleeping. When are they coming? They keep promising. You can only be promised so many times."

News 2 tried to contact Ryder Moving and Storage several times Friday but did not hear back.

Arroyo said Thursday she met with a Nashville attorney.

News 2 has been following Arroyo's story for the last two-and-a-half months and will continue to do so.
