NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
One of the nation's largest beauty retailers has set up shop in Nashville.
Ulta Beauty is now open in the 100 Oaks shopping center as part of the continued revival of the Berry Hill area.
The store sells high-end, prestigious products and even has a salon that offers everything from waxing, haircuts, and manicures.
"We cater to most women's needs. We have everything from drugstore brands to our prestige brands, such as Clarisonic. We've got Peter Thomas Roth, as well as Dermilogica. This will be on everyone's Christmas list, the Naked 2 and the original Naked palette from Urban Decay," said Wil Melchor-Barz, the store's general manager.
Melchor-Barz said they decided to bring the store to Nashville because the city has a demand for beauty, and Nashville women are fashion forward and trendy.
"It was long overdue," he added.
The store even has a men's section full of high-end fragrances, electric shavers and everything down to shampoo.
The store's grand opening is Friday at 10 a.m. at the new location located at 719 Thompson Lane.
There are a lot of festivities planned, including a gift card giveaway for the first 100 customers.
Ulta currently has locations in Hendersonville, Murfreesboro and Clarksville.
The new addition brought around 35 jobs to the area.
