A woman is facing 20 charges after she allegedly drove a stolen vehicle and crashed into several vehicles, including a police cruiser, on Sunday morning.
Police received calls regarding two hit-and-run crashes near 3rd Avenue and Commerce Street in downtown Nashville.
When authorities tried to pull over the vehicle, the driver, 24-year-old Amanda Howard, allegedly rammed into a police car and took off, causing two more accidents.
Howard ran several red lights and barely missed hitting pedestrians, police said.
She and her passenger, 31-year-old Gabriel Howard, were arrested a short time later.
The vehicle they used was reported stolen from Pigeon Forge.
Howard now faces 20 charges, including DUI, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading the scene of an accident and theft.
She is being held in lieu of $131,000 bond.
Gabriel faces charges of theft, resisting arrest, public intoxication and misdemeanor evading arrest.
He is being held in lieu of $33,000 bond.
