Gunman wanted for string of gas station robberies

Franklin police believe the same man is responsible for a string of gas station robberies that occurred within the last two weeks.

Police reported the suspect struck for a third time in just 11 days on Thursday night at the Delta Express located at 501 Liberty Pike.

The store clerk notified authorities around 11 p.m. after the masked gunman entered the store and demanded money.

The man fled the scene on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The gas station employee was not injured during the crime.

The suspect is described as a black male who is around six feet tall with a slim build. He is believed to be in his mid to late 20s.
