75th Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration kicks off Thursday

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. -

The 75th Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration kicks off Thursday in Shelbyville.

Located within 500 miles of half of the United States population, the event takes place at 1110 Evans Street in Shelbyville.

The annual celebration lasts for 11 days and nights prior to Labor Day and features over 1,000 Tennessee Walking Horses competing for a grand title.

The event includes barn decorating contests, a trade fair, competition classes and more.

Tickets to the nightly shows are on sale now.  The prices vary depending on what night of the week you want to go.  Click here to take a look.
