Country crooner Brad Paisley celebrated his 22nd number hit as a solo artist in downtown Nashville Tuesday.
Paisley co-wrote "Beat This Summer" alongside Chris Dubois and Luke Laird.
The country superstar told Nashville's News 2 he is thrilled with the song's success and he believes it is one that everyone can relate to.
"The minute we kind a spit out the melody, the chorus with that loop going on underneath, the vibe of clinging to every last minute of what summer means to you, I just felt like that's just one of those things that belongs on the radio," he explained.
Paisley is set to co-host the CMA Awards on November 6 alongside Carrie Underwood.
