Wilson County Fair sets attendance record during opening weekend

LEBANON, Tenn. -

The Wilson County Fair set a new attendance record during opening weekend.

More than 223,000 people attended the event, which opened its doors to the public on Friday evening.

Fair officials said they believe the milder temperatures and new features helped draw in attendees.

The Wilson County Fair runs through August 24.

Tickets at $7 for adults and $5 for children ages six to 12. Children under the age of five are admitted free.

The Music City Star will also be providing transportation to the fair on August 24.

Tickets must be purchased 48 hours ahead of time and include entry to the fair.
