MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. -

A road rage incident ended on Sunday with shots fired at a man and his pickup truck.

The terrifying incident occurred in the small town of Millersville at the Ridgeview Shell Station located off of Bethel Road.

Store surveillance video captured the initial encounter between the victim and four men in an older model Buick.

In the video, the driver of the Ford F-150 is seen backing up in the store's parking lot, nearly colliding with the Buick.

"The truck accidentally almost hit the car. They honked their horn, and then they start chasing him," Officer Billy Gross said.

The driver of the truck drives away before the driver of the Buick begins chasing after him.

While on Bethel Road, a gunman in the suspect's vehicle, leans out the window and begins firing as many as eight shots at the pickup truck.

At least one of the shots entered the victim's truck cab and became lodged in a child's booster seat.

"We did pull a 9 mm slug from that booster seat," Detective John Brown said.

Officer Gross added, "They were very bold and didn't care about the citizen's lives or anything."

Police said the driver of the Buick is a black male in his late teens or early 20s. At the time of the incident he was wearing a hat and red shorts.

Three other young men were inside the car at the time.

Witnesses reported the car was missing a hubcap on the driver's side and had Montgomery County plates.

Anyone with information is urged to call Millersville police at 615-859-2758.
