A 32-year-old man remains in Metro jail on a variety of charges after police say he "stuffed" his girlfriend "in the trunk of his car" nearly two weeks ago.
Coercion of a witness has been added to Twan Hendricks list of charges including aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault and domestic vandalism.
Police said Hendricks has called the victim 11 times since August 3 from the Davidson County Sheriff's Office in attempt to persuade her not to show up at court.
The calls ranged from 30 seconds to 15 minutes.
During the calls, police said Hendricks told her if she didn't show up the judge would dismiss the case.
The court date for Hendricks was on Thursday, but the victim never showed.
Since the coercion of a witness charge was added, the new court date for Hendricks is set on Tuesday.
