It's unfortunate that we are seeing more clouds than clear skies, BUT there are occasional breaks in the clouds.
So if you can get clear skies in your area, get out the next two nights (10:30PM-4:30AM) and check out The Perseid Meteor Showers.
They are already showing up, but the peak will be the nights of August 11th-12th (and mornings of 12th-13th).
Many astronomers consider this one of the best, and NASA scientists are saying that it produces more "fireballs" than any other.
