CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville authorities have arrested the parents of a four-year-old girl who was found dead last month.

Arianna Taylor was discovered dead at her home located in the 1400 block of Dotsonville Road on July 12.

A medical examiner has since determined the girl died as a result of multiple blunt force traumas.

Her parents, DeMarkus and Rawny Taylor, have since been taken into custody and are each charged with first degree felony murder, three counts of aggravated child abuse and false reports.

Nashville's News 2 spoke with neighbors who said they were heartbroken when they learned of Arianna's untimely death.

"There's not a day that goes by I don't think about it.  My wife has problems with it," a neighbor who did not want to be identified said, adding, "We're getting ready to have another child this week and it's just tragic. I just don't understand how a human being could to that to somewhere else, especially someone who's defenseless."

The Taylors were each booked on $250,000 bond.
