Kroger kicks off 'Wish Wine Were Here' postcard campaign
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
An area Kroger kicked off their "Wish Wine Were Here" postcard campaign on Tuesday.
The campaign at the Green Hills Kroger, located at 2141 Abbott Martin Road, gave customers the opportunity to contact their legislators to ask for their support of a bill that would let Tennesseans decide if wine should be sold at grocery stores.
The pre-printed postcards ask for the customer's name and address, as well as have a space for a personal message.
Tuesday's event, which wraps up at 4 p.m., is the first of many "Wish Wine Were Here" events to be held across the state.
