Former SNL star Victoria Jackson lands in Nashville

What do Senator Bob Corker and former "Saturday Night Live" star Victoria Jackson have in common?

Both are being interviewed by News 2 Tuesday as both are making the media rounds on two very different topics.

The senator is outlining a housing finance reform plan in front of Middle Tennessee civic groups that will affect most prospective homebuyers.

Jackson is hop scotching around Nashville TV and radio stations pushing an appearance Thursday at a local comedy club.

The 54-year-old Jackson told Nashville's News 2 she moved to Middle Tennessee three months ago because she has several family members in the area.

On her Web site and in some of her songs, Jackson has been an outspoken critic of various aspects of the Muslim religion, but says it won't be part of her comedy act.

Jackson takes the stage at Zanies Comedy Night Club Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
