A man was violently stabbed by his roommate in their north Nashville home.
The incident happened Friday in the 1900 block of 11th Avenue North.
Polices said Robert Wilson, 43, was listening to music on the television when the victim came into the room and turned it down.
An argument ensued, during which Wilson retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the face and stomach.
A witness who was sleeping on the couch woke up during the altercation and recovered the knife on the floor, tossing it behind the couch.
Police later found another knife in the room where the stabbing occurred.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
Wilson was charged with intentional aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and jailed on a $50,000 bond.
