Loretta Lynn's Hurricane Mills ranch hosts motocross riders

HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. -

Loretta Lynn's ranch in Hurricane Mills has been home to motocross for more than 30 years, hosting amateur dirt bike championships and the nation's elite ATV Motocross Series.

Friday, competitors from all over the world tried to quality for the championship.

Organizer Tim Cotter told Nashville's News 2, "Well there's 1,440 here, so about 5% of the riders that actually attempted to qualify were able to make it to this stage."

The final races will be held Saturday.

Lynn's ranch will also host the final round of the ATV Motocross National Championship series next Saturday and Sunday.
