NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are working to identify two suspects responsible for robbing a man outside of an Antioch retailer earlier this month.

The 24-year-old victim reported to police he had just gotten out of his vehicle at City Gear located on Bell Road on July 16 when he was approached by a gunman that demanded the shorts he was wearing.

The victim complied with the request, losing his wallet, car keys and cell phone.

The armed robber is said to have fled the scene in a waiting white Nissan Altima, which was driven by a second suspect.

Authorities said the gunman and the getaway driver were both browsing inside City Gear prior to the robbery.

Police said the gun-wielding suspect is believed to be in his late teens to early 20s and has shoulder length dread locks.

His accomplice is also believed to be in his late teens to early 20s and has short hair.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
