A 19-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover crash early Thursday morning north of Columbia.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. on Carters Creek Pike near Beechcroft Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling northbound on Carters Creek Pike when she left the roadway and ran into a ditch.
Upon impact, the woman's vehicle rolled two or three times before landing in a small creek.
The teen was able to crawl out a back window of her SUV.
She was sitting on a tire that was torn of the vehicle during the crash when officers arrived.
She had cuts and bruises but refused transport to the hospital.
Her mother arrived and took her to Williamson Medical Center as a precaution.
The southbound lane of Carters Creek Pike was shutdown while crews removed the vehicle.
The road reopened at 8 a.m.
