A three-day job fair gets underway Thursday to fill more than 600 full-time positions at the new Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville.
The new hotel is slated to open September 30, about three months ahead of schedule.
The 800-room hotel will have two restaurants, a coffee house and music venue.
"We received over 2,700 online applications so we expect to see a good crowd there over the next few days as we talk to everybody and see how they'll fit into the Omni family," Omni General Manager Dan Piotrowski told Nashville's News 2.
The hiring fair is Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Music City Center.
Applicants should enter the convention center on the Sixth Avenue South side of the building. Parking is available in the garage off of Sixth Avenue South.
Job seekers are encouraged to fill out an online application prior to attending the event. Attendees are also asked to bring an updated copy of their resume.
Open positions include managerial, supervisory and hourly positions in housekeeping, guest services, sales and room service, among others.
