A Montgomery County man popped "the question" in a very creative way this weekend.
After receiving permission from his girlfriend's family, Clifton Smith mowed a 1-acre heart into their property off Highway 41 in Clarksville.
Using bed sheets, he created the 15-foot letters spelling "Will you marry me?" for his girlfriend, Rachel Weakley.
He then arranged for a private plane to fly the couple over the property.
Weakley said yes.
Smith's proud mother sent Nashville's News 2 the photo and shared her son's story.
Congratulations to Clifton and Rachel! They are hoping for a spring wedding.
