Man faces 3rd DUI after striking car in drive thru

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

A 30-year-old man faces his third DUI offense after he struck a car in front of him in the drive through of a Franklin fast food restaurant.

The incident involving Joshua Stark occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday at the Steak ‘n Shake located at 4440 Carothers Parkway.

Authorities said Stark fled the scene following the accident. He was taken into police custody a short time later.

At the time of his arrest, police said he was impaired. An open bottle of alcohol was also located inside his vehicle.

Stark is charged with his third DUI, leaving the scene of a crash and driving on a revoked license, among other charges.

He has since been released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 1.
