NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A stolen vehicle's OnStar safety system was used to stop two suspects in their tracks Wednesday afternoon.

Officers activated the system after the vehicle, a black Chevy Camero, was reported stolen from the Enterprise rental car facility at the Nashville airport.

The vehicle was located traveling west on Interstate 40 in Davidson County.

Officers caught up with the suspects just past the McCrory Lane exit in Cheatham County at mile marker 191.

The driver, Kevius Finch, a former Enterprise employee, and his passenger, Frederick Scates, were arrested on theft charges.

They also each face one count of criminal simulation after a stash of counterfeit money was found in the glove compartment.
