An 18-year-old Murfreesboro woman was injured after losing control of her vehicle in Rutherford County early Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 12:40 a.m. on Burnt Knob Road at Leonard Hudson Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Rachel Hoilman was traveling north on Burnt Knob Road when she failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
Hoilman was trapped and emergency crews had to extricate her from her 1992 Honda Accord.
She was flown via LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where she was listed in stable condition Thursday morning.
Hoilman was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
