Arrest made in Smyrna restaurant shooting, 2nd suspect at large

SMYRNA, Tenn. -

Smyrna police have arrested one person and are searching for another in connection to a fatal shooting late last month outside a local restaurant.

Three people were injured in the June 23 shooting at the Souksavanh Restaurant on Almaville Road.

John Bouavong died from his injuries several days later.

Friday, police arrested 23-year-old Timmy Nouanemany at his parents' home in Nashville.

He is charged with attempted murder for the shooting of victim Banthavong Senesena.

Also Friday, warrants were obtained charging 46-year-old Bounthavy Mickey Mouthouta with the murder of Bouavong and attempted murder of victim Tommy Nouanemany.

Mouthouta, who is also known as Soviet, is believed to be armed and dangerous.

He was last known to live on Riddick Court in Murfreesboro.

Mouthouta has black hair and brown eyes and is five feet, five inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

He was last known to be driving a 2004 Silver Honda Accord bearing Tennessee license plate number No. 093NGR.
