A 47-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at a Nashville intersection Monday night.
The accident involving Keith Verge occurred at the intersection of Chestnut Street and 2nd Avenue South.
Police reported Verge, who was driving a 1993 Buick Roadmaster, was traveling west on Chestnut Street when he made a right turn against a red light onto 2nd Avenue.
Verge collided with a 2002 Nissan Xterra which was traveling north on 2nd Avenue and had the green light.
Verge and the driver of the SUV were both transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he later died.
Police said there was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement at the scene of the crash.
