SMYRNA, Tenn. -

A trial has been set for the Smyrna woman accused of killing her two young children after she left them in a hot car last summer.

The trial against Samantha Harper is scheduled to begin February 10, 2014 and is expected to last about a week.

Harper's children, two-year-old Savannah Marise and three-year-old Daniel Marise, died last August.

Prosecutors said Harper put the toddlers in a car before she went back inside the house and fell asleep.

She is charged with murder and remains jailed in Rutherford County.
